how do you know?
and about the diffrent fonts that is a product of taking photos, when you take a pic of somthing close up it tends to bend, I have done this my self in photos

like I said if it were a film or a better cam we could tell but this looks like a cell phone camera pic
update:
I checked for an exif (tells you the make of a camera and such also can tell you if it is photoshoped) there is no exif, so it was either deleted or was done by a camera with no EXIF and that would be an old cam or a cellphone

Update on the EXIF
it is clear that image 2 was edited (not to be a fake just to hide the MAC address) so if they used photoshop an EXIF would have been there, This leads me to belive the EXIF was deleted.

Look at this picture:

The game icon seems to be white when in the other pictures, every icon has a new silvery colour. WTF?

The fact of the matter was that he was originally going to post it on his own site to get some publicity going, but then he got worried about Sony firing him, so he handed over the pictures to me.

The only reason why I did not believe it is a fake is because I personally know this guy, have gone to lunch with him in Vegas, talk to him, and he's just not someone I've met online.

Whether or not he was trying to have some fun with us and PSed a picture, I do not know. But I know he has no PS skills, being as his site looks like utter crap.

I asked him for a copy of the update EBOOT before. He said he could not hand it over for two reasons: Sony is being extra strict with internal copies of builds of the firmwares. Each copy distributed to the staff is personalized, and is assigned to a specific MAC address, and as well, has the staff member's name embedded inside the code of the EBOOT, so that in case it were to be leaked, the leaker could be immediately found, and pressed charges against.

Which brings me to another point. He did inform me when he gave me these pictures that it is a 'build' of the firmware, and that there are many, many builds, made daily. This leads me to believe that there could be probable glitches, and the font differences might actually be there to signify the difference between a release and a build, but this is all speculation.

that explains all of it. i had a hunch it would be a glitch or something (the white game icon) and this proves it.

p.s. admin, why did you put so many links to your pspupdates post in irrelevant places?
