More Progress On Monkey64 (N64 Emulator For PSP)!

PSMonkey has been, and still is, hard at work on his Monkey64 (Nintendo 64 emulator) for the PSP. Progress is going great at this point, as more and more games are gradually becoming compatible with his emulator, because of his new texture loading methods and instructions. Bugs are also being tweaked out, and tons of other related progress has been made on the project. Full framerate Nintendo 64 action on the PSP, that'll be the day, keep up the great work PSMonkey!

Here's what PSMonkey has to say about the lastest progress:
"Anyways with this fixed I lost a bit in the framerate department on some stuff. Yet I now have more games running as a result. Doom64 runs to the title screen and posibly beyond but cant tell since i get a white screen when i start a new game. Bust a move 2 also runs now but looks to crash in game on a bus error (still hunting this one out).

So that is about it. Sadly no calls for 3d instructions so I guess I am screwed. I will be starting up hle this week so we can start seeing some 3d (but I might spend more time on fixing texture stuff in the rdp)."

Check out PSMonkey's website for additional project information here.

this is gonna be great but there are 9 buttons on the n64 remote and only 6 on the psp so thats gonna be kinda of annoying...But, being able to play Mario Kart 64 is going to be great.....

keep up the good work......
