Hello!

I really respect what you've figured out... but why don't u respond to questions?

Why don't u just clearly say what u are able to do? Are u able to run selfmade code already? Can the Savefiles be executed from games and allow the access of kernel mode? THX

Question

Lol? I was wondering what an eBoot file has to do with a tif exploit!!? I'm just a n00b! But i opened the eboot with a Hexeditor (as NuTTeR said ) and i saw that its just the 1.51 Update...

a little bit modified to 2.51 Update...

curious ^^

Well, according to the creator, the TIF exploit was only patched in the Photo viewer. However, by using a glitch sound along with a modified tif exploit embedded within an eboot, you can bypass it by launching the exploit from the eboot handler instead of the Photo handler.

Well, the reason the 2.0 exploit did not give access to kernel mode was that viewing photos is done under user mode so when the exploit was run, the system was stuck in user mode. If I am not mistaken, a game is run in kernel mode, so since this exploit is acheived from a game and not the photo shell it should leave the system in kernel mode. This is just speculative theory so hopefully we will get a definitive answer from butterball soon.

Interesting. Let's hope that that could happen.

Exclamation

U dont need the PNG files The only files That Do some type of overflow is THE PMF and THE AUDIO FIle so ITS not a OVERFLO TIFF Exploit just trust me take out the PNG AND WATCH IT will do the same exact thing but i dont think this is not an exploit i think its just alot of COPY and PASTE lol....................
