UMD Demos Starting To Ship With Magazines?

A company named Future is planning to launch a new magazine called the Official PSP Guidebook, a magazine dedicated soley to the PSP, hence the name, for sale in the UK.

But that's not what makes this magazine special. What does make it special is that it will be the first magazine to offer free 'cover-mounted UMD demo discs' with every issue. Cool, huh?

But it would definitely be nice to see such offerings to be available with some bigger name magazines, as well as availability in the US and other countries, so that we can all enjoy free demos with our magazines.

And downloadable demos... where are they Sony? This is the age of broadband, and we want on-demand game demos! Surely someday this will happen, otherwise Sony wouldn't have wasted time allowing memory stick gaming options, unless their main goal was to leave a passageway for playing homebrew games, which would be quite ironic if true.

More information at the source here.

sony is always slow with their software, dont expect to see any downloadable demos this year

If they do this for a second party magazine why not for their own playstation underground?

hmmm... me personally would also prefer to dl demos on my ms than go and buy a magazine that will cost about 10 € or even more. and i think they will be that expensive because sony is the only one who is making umds atm ...
we`ll have to wait and see maybe sony will come up with a webportal that even will be better than the xbox 360 live portal... hopefully ...
