As mentioned in the 2006 PlayStation Press Briefing just a few weeks ago, SCEJ (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan) confirmed today that they will be releasing a new, PSP-only, non-value pack version of the ceramic white PSP on 4/20. Pricing should be around the same as the non-value pack black PSP currently released in the US and Japan.
What's interesting about the soon to be released non-value pack version of the ceramic white PSP is the box color: yellow. Word, a new marketing technique? Yet another interesting thing to take note of was that the original planned release date was 4/15, but an unknown delay pushed the release to 4/20. Hmm... looks like the big executive guys in black suits down at Sony Japan want to celebrate 4/20 in two ways, if you know what I mean, heh.  Source

Points: 22.10 Donate | | | Wow, not as a value pack? Sweet. It sucked having it originally come out as a value pack ( although the accessories were nice ) This should bring in quite a few new people to the psp. |

It was good if it was Light blue, red, white or black etc. All other collors ar good. But NOT yellow. Come on man.

hopefully with the release of the new whites there will also be a release of a new fw
same thing happened to me with my first white one
was under the impression that all white where 2.0 and i turned mine on and it was a 2.01
maybe the same thing will happen here but with 3.0 |

Points: 14.04 Donate | | im considdering to buy one to if this non vallue packs drop down to 150 or less. Yes it's only 25 dollars. But i love it more to spend 150 then 175. Then i have a black 1.5 and a white 3.0 for gps
Or maybe i will wait until 3.0 is here and that there is gps for 1.5 we have usb acces
