Today he has officially released a work-in-progress release of Daedalus PSP, and it really rocks ( Update: StrmnNrmn has released a new version specifically for 2.0+ PSPs (up to 2.6). Great work, and see look for the download link below). According to his post: Quote: |

This is quite important: The emulator is far from perfect - many (most) roms don't currently boot, and there are all sorts of crashes, graphical glitches and performance issues. There's no sound or savegame support either This should really be treated as a teaser of what's possible in the future. Hopefully if I have enough time and motivation I'll be able to make a lot of headway with these problems.
Despite all that, the emulator is showing some great signs of progress. Super Mario 64 is looking pretty good as you can see from the screenshots here: http://sourceforge.net/project/scree...group_id=57977. [Super Mario 64]
The next big tasks for me to tackle are to fix various crashes (i.e. many roms boot but then bug out after a few seconds) and improve performance (i.e. Mario currently only runs at around 20-25% of full speed.
Anyway, the source and binaries are released on sourceforge at the following link http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=414040
Regards,
StrmnNrmn | I've personally confirmed that this emulator runs on PSPs with firmware version 1.50. It's likely to use kernel mode, so I doubt it will work on 2.00 and up. Nonetheless, it runs at a decent speed (about 1/4 to 1/3 the real speed), and plays Super Mario 64 with just a few graphical glitches.
Note: When you install Daedalus on your PSP, you cannot rename the folder. Also, your ROMs go in the "Roms" folder, and have to have their extension changed to .v64.
More Screenshots: [007 intro screen] Download Daedalus PSP: PSP Nintendo 64 Emulator from PSP 3D here: 1.5/1.0 firmware. 2.0+ firmware. Note: It runs much better if you use IR Shell to set the CPU speed to 333MHz before you run it!

daedalus_psp_R1_src.zip, daedalus_psp_R1_v100.zip, and daedalus_psp_R1_v150.zip. Grab whichever one you need |
