Poor, poor, Fanjita and Ditlew. Recently, they have been slammed with false rumors and fake information posted all over the net. So much in fact, to the point where they decided to post an official news bulletin on their site, stating their discontent with the many few who start spreading these rumors about a "downgrader" made by Fanjita and Ditlew, themselves. 
Fortunately, not much of this ordeal has been posted on our own forums, but other forums are having to deal with lots of this false information, leading people to believe that Fanjita and Ditlew have a working 2.6 firmware downgrader, that is still unreleased. That, is false. And anyone who believed that was the case should stop believing so, now that you have seen this post. Coming from a developer backgrounds ourselves, we know there is nothing worse than recieving 100 emails a day on a hyped up rumor, or having to read multiple threads a day claiming that you're working on something that you're really not.
