Deniska has just released the first version of his new homebrew port of Metal Blob Solid (Blob Wars), which was announced a few days ago. Based off elements from Parallel Realities, Metal Blob Solid (Blob Wars) is an open-source, tactical 2D platformer, which offers intense action and lots of gore (as can be seen below). Great work Deniska, another awesome homebrew port!

Features Metal Blob Solid (Blob Wars) v1.0.4 include:
- Over 25 missions.
- More than 8 hours gameplay.
- 4 difficulty settings.
- Large levels with different environments, such as water, lava, ice and slime.
- Use a variety of different weaponary, including machine guns and laser cannons.
- Multiple objectives.
- Jetpack and aqua lung items to find.
- Optional blood and gore.
- Boss battles.
- Lots of sound effects and music tracks.
- Configurable controls.
- Cheats: get unlimited health, aqualung/jetpack, rapid fire, extra blood/gore, speed, access to all levels.
- Level replay value - return to previous levels to rescue all MIAs and optional objectives.

This looks kinda kool, i'll try it out. I havn't found anything really kool lately, hopefully this will be better.

I got it working and ya know what, it fucking rox. Sorry for the old thread postage (even if it aint that old) but this game is fucking good, multiple weapons and everything, you can even get a jetpack, havn't got it yet but i'm sure itz kool as hell. 8 hours of gameplay, i'm sure this won't disappoint. It hazn't yet. Best find in a while, if you havn't checked it out yet itz worth a download.

I've played this on Linux. But no PSP = no HB, I'm really looking forward to play this on my PSP

Yea itz really great. Probably the best release i've seen in a while. I'm becoming a Deniska fan, if i didn't suck at photoshop (and if i had it) i'd make a sig that said so. What happened to ur psp homer??? I'm a fan of ur work also.
