Homer and Lil13lazin, from our forums, have just released their first beta of the *********** Shell for all homebrew compatible PSP firmwares (1.0, 1.5 and 2.XX using the eLoader). They have only been working on this for exactly 18 hours straight, so do not expect too much from it just yet. However, they do have a pretty nice shell in development.

Features in Dark Karnage Shell include:
- GUI AKA interface.
- Desktop icons clickable.
- Windowed boxes for icons displaying information on the item.
- Clock info.
- Battery info.

Things to look forward to in v1.0:
- MP3 player.
- JPEG viewer.
- Paint.
- AIM, MSN, Yahoo [MAYBE].
- Moveable icons.
- Homebrew launcher [yes this will work on 2.01+]
- UMD launcher [not for 2.6].

i can get it to load but thats it. i dont do anything on my 2.5

it makes this sound when i click stuff but thats it

Yes thats all 1.5 can do too this is just the basics as you read the thread it will tell you what it CAN do and Will be ABLE to LATER ON
Also this has only been worked on for 18 hours only other shells which it take them 5 to 7 weeks to come out with a new Decent version Within a week we most likey should have the "Features to look out for" List completed.

Woohoo, i been waitin for this ever since you mentioned it last night at 3 in the mornin. Loox great can't wait to try.
