PATS v2 Released!

GMdude66 has just released a new version of PATS (PSP Anti Theft System), a PSP protection system, which makes your PSP 'call home' when your PSP is connected to somebody else's computer, and a password is not entered. The PSP sends the IP address of the theft to your email address specified, and from there you can report the IP to the proper authorities, and hopefully, recover your stolen property. The new version features a few new improvements over the initial release. Good thinking guys, this definitely will make for some happy PSP owners... and sad PSP thefts.

Features/fixes in v2 include:
- Added a 'password' box.
- Ditched the registry.
- Ditched the .bat file; now using .vbe (much more features).
- If password is correct, an explorer window will automatically open.

Download PATS v2 from PSP 3D here.

i have a problemm!!!! it says here

When you double click the 'setowner.reg' file infomation will be added to the registry stating that this computer is the TRUE owner of the psp. When you plug your PSP into you computer 'autorun.inf' will execute the 'findowner.bat' file which then will read the registry for the owner data. If this data does not exist a browser window opens up and send the users IP address information to your email address (you must set your email address in index.htm to get this email!).

but there is noo set owner file thereee what do i do?????

I think this verson doesn't have that it only has a password, but i have a problem when i plug it into my computer the autorun.inf doesn't run. Also these types of script have to normally be otherized if you are using Norten, i think.
