Firmware 2.71 has just been released worldwide via Network Update on PSP, as well as on Sony's official PSP pages. More security? Update at your own risk, and remember, no firmware 2.70 or higher can run homebrew applications and games!  Features/updates in firmware 2.71 include:
- Game demos can now be downloaded from the internet and saved to the Memory Stick.
- Video output can now be displayed correctly when external tuner is selected in LocationFree player.
- New "Goto Network Service" icon added to Network menu on XMB. Download firmware 2.71 via Sony here.
