Booster has just released a new patch to Devhook, the popular and homebrew application which sports full firmware 2.5 emulation, including the web browser, on a firmware 1.5 PSP (basically allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds: the world of homebrew, and the latest PSP games and features). The new patch is an addition (not a standalone release) to Devhook v0.40 and v0.41, and includes a handful of bugfixes. Great work Booster, this is definitely some awesome work, keep up the good job!

Features/fixes in v0.40/v0.41/v0.41 patch include:
- Switching between XMB and Devhook optimized (v0.41 patch).
- Wallpaper restoration problem fixed (v0.41 patch).- Firmware 2.50 reboot support.
- plain20.prx loading location changed.
- UMD read stack extension location moved to support firmware 2.50.

This is very good but DevHook 0.41 has wi-fi if the clock speed is set to 222mhz, if the clock is set to 333mhz it doesn't. This still has not been fixed in this new prx patch just thought I would let this be known.

Why is it .41 lost WIFI support? Kinda odd for an improved firmware ability to lose the WIFI ability.

So .41 has WIFI if you simply don't overclock? I figuired that would be a big issue on .40 too since if your game is running faster than anothers online, that'd cause some problems with gameplay.

my psp keeps crashing every time i try to emulate 2.5 what am i doing wrong and what settings must i have it on?

What happens when it crashes? Do you get a black screen with the wavy lines? If so, you need to format your memory stick and then it will work fine.

The same thing happened to me and now it works perfectly!

so now with the patch you are able to use the wifi feature (on .41)?

Both versions allow you to use wifi, just it didn't work so well on the early version.

Hey, im a new member here but i am/was a common visitor.

1. My brothers PSP was temporarily bricked when he tried this so im a little bit hesitant and shit.

2. How do you quit emulating 2.5?
