Percival and PSP 3D have just released the firmware 1.5 version of Super Mario War for PSP, a port of the awesome home-made Super Mario deathmatch game (think of it as a mix of Super Smash Brothers, with the items and actions of Super Mario) orginally developed by Michael Schaffer and Florian Hufsky. Just recently, we released Super Mario War for 1.0 (2.0+), but there was some minor coding issues which caused the homebrew game to be un-KXploitable, leaving 1.5 firmware users in the dark. We have fixed those problems and repackaged the release for all firmware 1.5 PSP owners to enjoy. Thanks for your patience, and have fun!

Special thanks to both Predator04 and gergc for spending hours helping us test and fix the 1.5 firmware version of Super Mario Wars!

The game features a ton of different characters and maps to choose from, a complete library of music, awesome CPU AI, and a variety of game modes to choose from. It's fully modable; read the README.txt included for more information on the game, skinning, and more.

On a side note, Vettacossx has delivered the first mods for Super Mario War for PSP. He has made a vast mod pack featuring tons of character skins, which can be seamlessly integrated and chosen through SMW. Great work!

Finally us 1.5 users can try the great homebrew that everyone is talking about! Looking forward to future releases, and I might even make some skins

Still doesn't work. It says "I regret to inform your your psp has just crashed" and then gives error details, lots of them.

Did you install everything correctly?

Have any files changed apart from the eboot's?

It works fine. Keep trying. Nothing besides the EBOOTs has changed.

I think when this came out when it didn't work I put it onto my mem stick but because it didn't work I started deleting it, but because I don't have a USB 2.0 port I think I stopped because it was gonna take to long. I am replacing everything now because that is probably my problem.
