PSP Multi-Firmware Module Prototype Announced!

0okm has just announced information on his work-in-progress module which will allow multiple firmwares on your PSP. Offering some of the same capabilities as Undiluted Platinum, the first PSP modchip planned for release on the 16th, we can't wait to see where this one will go. Although not neccessarily a modchip, it will unbrick your PSP, and it will allow you to have multiple firmwares, so this is definitely a viable option for those considering Undilulted Platinum. To top it all off, it's only priced at $50 USD, half of the UP's price, and installation is supposedly much easier, with only 20 simple soldering points. Looks awesome, great work 0okm, can't wait to see even more information as well as ordering information!

Features planned include:
- ALTERA MAX 3000A Cost-Optimized CPLD.
- 480 Mbps High Speed USB 2.0 (PSP built-in).
- Brand new 32MB NAND Flash onboard (same type as used in stock PSP).
- Stable and reliable flashing software freely available for download.

Check out more information on this new prototype at his blog here.

OUTSTANDING work 0okm! The more competition there is in the whole 'modchip/multi-firmware' scene, the better quality the outcome products will be, and the lower the prices go for things like UP, which is highly overpriced, especially the premodded white PSP they are going to have for sale. $500! JEEZ!

this is AMAZING WORK!!!!! it is cheeper then the modchip and does the same thing basically. still, i know nothing about soldering so i might have to but the psp with modchip built in unless it as simple as it claims.
