Undiluted Platinum Now Shipping!

The initial batches of the Undiluted Platinum PSP modchips have been shipped yesterday to all those who pre-ordered their modchip, on a first come, first serve basis. For those of you who didn't order your copy, well, don't be too worried, surely the hype will pass, and most probably, additional modchips following the design of the UP will be released, at much cheaper prices at that.

I, as a news editor and tech enthusiast, do not want to push modchips to the average PSP user. It is quite a tedious task to install the modchip, and can very easily end in potentially damage your PSP, from the slightest splash of solder on your mainboard. If you still wish to order a UP modchip, I'm sure ModChipStore.com has some available, so check them out.

Check out our take on the Undiluted Platinum modchip here.

If you have kernel access on 2.6 there's no point of downgrading, 2.6 will be as good as 1.5 for homebrew.

Well hey.... If anyone would send a mod chip to me to "review", i would gladly accept and make a video of how to install it
Note: The modchip might get "lost" while shipping back

OK, I have a question, tell me if I got this right, you know on your psp your have to have a certain chip and the way to tell is to open the UMD drive and on the right hand side it says something, but if it doesnt say anything then is it compatible with the modchip. Cause mine doesn't say anything.
