Booster has just released a new version of DevHook, the popular homebrew application which runs full firmware 2.5 emulation, including the web browser, on a firmware 1.5 PSP (basically allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds: the world of homebrew, and the latest PSP games and features). The new version improves on the overall performance of DevHook, by means of better memory management. Another great release from Booster!

Features/fixes in v0.42b include (thanks to TheShadowRunner for translation):
- Memory handling is improved while rebooting.
- Devhook permanent residence task's stack increased from 4KB to 8KB.
- Return value of dhGetVersion() from 0x00004201 to 0x00420002.
- Devhook's CLOCK control is disabled when CPU CLOCK=0 (launcher incompatibility).

a dumb question, its only ned to overwrite the dh folder?there isnt no ebots in this zip file.

at the risk of sounding like a complete fool...:
i have recently downgraded to 1.5, and realised that i can now no longer play gta:lcs

i realise this program will solve this, but have no idea how to use it. would someine be so kind as to explain how i install devhook, all the instructions seem to be in japanese!

I hope Booster keeps updating this cos Its one of the best PSP apps around.

My DevHook setup guide is in my sig I haven't updated it yet because I am a bit drunk and it is 00:47 here (the time isn't a problem I am usually up until 03:30).
