Points: 28.66 Donate | | Anyone For Free, Legal Music Downloads? Oh Yeah, There Is ONE Catch.... Well, whilst flicking through the newspaper the other day (something i dont usally do :P)I came across a very interesting article...
A company called Spiralfrog have made a program to download music to work on Itunes, WMP ect. This is legal, as Spiralfrog pay for all the downloads. They rely on their pop ups and ads to keep them going. They say users wont mind the pop-ups if they are downloading free music.
Spiralfrog hasent been released yet but it will be soon, with probebly a beta version to start with.
And i said there was a catch, right...
Well, the music has something in it to stop it working on a certain MP3 player.... and this mp3 player is not very well known, i think its called an IPOD or something.... Yep , thats right, none of th music will work on an IPOD...
shame, huh?
Just thought id share this. |

Whenever you buy something from iTunes, it's a locked .m4a, .m4p. I tried to convert it to .mp3, but it wouldnt let me.
