What'd be better is some way for us to mod ourselfs, but I can't think of anything that wouldn't lead to spamming besides the existing points system (but that economy is slow due to the low saturation of points). Maybe there could be a "vote to close this thread" where if 10 people with over 200 posts agree to close the tread, it will close (untill a higher mod can look at it) or something like that. And maybe some sort of warning system too.
