SonicStage 3.2 not detecting my 1gb MS DUOPRO

Hey all
Ive just bought a new Sony 1GB MS DUO PRO and when ever i try to connect to the psp via SonicStage, SS will freeze, take ages to read the psp, and it wont let upload songs in atrac3plus format, or even vanilla atrac3, it stalls after converting the first song.
I think this has something to do with the 1GB MS not being detected as a MagicGate Device, because my 32MB MS (that came with the PSP) is detected fine (as a MagicGate Device), and i am able to upload atrac3plus files with no problem ( i can only fit 1 album tho!!!)
I am using a 2.01 PSP.

Any one have any suggestions???

Why dont you just throw the tracks on in the MUSIC folder? Convert them to mp3 first, way easier.

Maybe version 3.3 would help? I read about version 3.2 not being compatible with 1gb memory sticks.

thanks for the quick replies guys..
all my music are mp3's already, im using atrac3plus 48kbs coz the compression is great (30megs or so for an album) and the sound quality is very good.
ill try downloading version 3.3 when i get home from work, thanks!

ok, so ive given up on sonicstage, im just gonna wait till a new ver comes out.... i was thinking that i might have to upgrade my firmware to take advantage of the 1gig sticks?? just a thought....

anyways, im looking for anyother software that can convert mp3's into mp4's for use on the psp.... something thats easy to use (import mp3s ->then create directory, convert and upload automatically, kinda like sonicstage, or nero recode (thats for vids tho, way better than pspvideo9, btw)) and is compatible with the psp....

any ideas??
