I always create a quick txt file so i know what goes where, remembering to write the places in the track you are going to modify. This helped me, but you might not want to.

Make sure when you've chosen, that you don't change your mind. Pick, and then stick with them. If, after two or three hours, you're really stuck, then consider swapping.
