Converting .flv files

Hi,

I have videos from youtube saved as .flv videos. I want to convert it to another format such as .avi or .wmv then into PSP .mp4.

Any recommended programs. I have tried loads of programs.

Please help...

I would like one too, i found that alot of the vids on youtube can be converted to MPEG-4 with Xilisoft PSP Video Converter. But not any of the vids from myspace, they dont like being converted at all.

The full version of course, lol. But the free version lasts forever but it has a 5 min limit http://xilisoft.com/psp-video-converter.html this is also one of the best psp vid converters i have used, its soo easy and it works very good. Hope it works for you too.

There are several converters I would recommend.

MediaCoder - This is totally free, and I think it would support what you want - not completely sure though. Anyway, it has so many codecs.

WinAVI - This is shareware, but extremely easy to use, unlike MediaCoder. It also has a good range of input codecs, but only four codecs - RM, DVD, WMV, and AVI.

i use this flash to video encoder and it can convert swf/flv to avi, wmv, mp4 and others (depends on codecs installed).

It's really easy to trick that program really- just find a used lisence key and name and it will actually think it's a new registration.
