It's an MP3 editor; you can edit already ripped MP3's that are on your PC, no need to re-rip.

Oh, BTW, do you have AVLS enabled? Make sure that's turned off, or else it'll keep your volume low. It's to prevent "sound leakage," or whatever that's called; you know, so that other people can't overhear your music from it being too loud and "leaking" out of the headphones.

Ok I will do that then. And ofcourse the AVLS is OFF!

Damn, should have bought the white one.

Yea i know that the screens on the japanese models are of a higher quality than the UK release because they are made by different companies....so maybe the sound is somewhat the same...

well i can only say that i wish movies were louder as well as music too

Well movies you can make louder if you go to your 'Video Settings' then go to 'UMD Video Volume' just a suggestion to any of those who may not have done this yet you can increse it by +1 and +2

My JP PSP's are quite loud when at full volume, even out of the standard speakers. Maybe it's because of some European or US laws that prevent sound from reaching a certain level; I heard about something like that somewhere. All I know is that it can be pretty loud when turned all the way up listening through headphones. Maybe I'll compare it to my friend's US 2.6 sometime.
