Points: 28.66 Donate | | | Recently a site (dark-alex.com) popped up, this site claims to have all of d_a's great programs,
they even seem to have se-c' when dax.lan.st clearly doesnt have it. upon closer inspection i compared the rar files from that sites se-c with dax.lan.st....results?
sec.rar (from dax.lan.st) - 256kb
sec.rar (from the bricker site) - 140kb
why would D_A upload 2 different rar's? he wouldnt....
on irc someone has reported this as a bricker, i just feel its nessessary to warn everyone...only download the updates from dax.lan.st the OFFICIAL site.
I looked further into this...it seems alll the rar files their differ from that of the offical site.... every file there is a bricker. |

Points: 212.39 Donate | | | You're right Fanjita. Most people with a decent sense of right and wrong, combined with minimal intelligence would realise that paying for pirated files that are freely available without the £30 price tag is just idiotic.
You want a game? Buy it. You want a free game? Homebrew. You want a movie? Buy, Rip, Convert.
Dark_AleX can do whatever he wants. His life shouldn't be devoted to grumpy pirating PSP users if he receives this sort of thing. He's slowing down for the same reasons that 0okm stopped the TA-082 downdater, and countless PSP developers are finding new paths; Abuse.
Abuse is the reason we receive spam email's in our messages; it's the reason we argue with others. If he decides to quit the scene, you can pin the blame on the abusers who set up that site, who flame him, and who send him malicious messages.
Anyway, episode II is well on it's way. It contains tips about how to stay safe when downloading files, more bad PSP sites, and a little more.
I find it strange that the amount of people who voted this news for the homepage still hasn't managed to move the thread. Oh well, that's not a big thing really. |

Just an update; I've done two sites for episode II, and I think that this will be a bit better than the last. | |
