Hey!
I've been browsing the internet looking for a PSP sites that claim to offer unlimited PSP games, movies, and music for a set price. In other words, I've been scouring the web for scammers wanting
your money for illegal files!
At the top of my list is a site called '
PSPBlender'. For a flat fee of 37USD, they offer Roms, PSP games (ISOs), cheats, movies, TV shows, music, homebrew, wallpapers, and other things; all legally.
A great deal, you say? Think again. The harsh reality is that possibly the only legal things on that list are the cheats and homebrew; and even they are 100% free to the average PSP user.
The thing that annoys me the most is that they sell freeware homebrew applications such as PSPTunes, PSP content Manager (By uFox), PSPRadio, PSP Automatic Homebrew Installer, Universal Remote, and PSP PDA for a high price. The programs are FREE!
Another nag is that not only do they claim to offer free PSP game, movie, and TV downloads legally (which is wrong); the supposed 'fantastic downloads' are just links to torrent files and P2P programs. Anybody who can spell 'Google.com' can find those files, whether legal or not.
People who have contacted PSPblender have received no reply.
Stay well clear! My crapiness rating (Where 1 is the least-bad, and 5 is the worst):

Next on my list is 'Allpspgames'. Their version is to offer unlimited PSP software, music, movies, and games for a lifetime fee of 44.95USD. As you may have guessed, this site is a load of cods-wallop. They even offer a 'PSP Browser' and PSP themes as main items. When have you ever seen downloadable browsers and themes apart from in homebrew?
(Another indication of selling homebrew; or, they could just give you a firmware v3.01 update and tell you that you can use the browser and change the background colour).
Now, there's not really much else to explain, apart from that once more, it's all illegal and probably all just torrent links.

Today's final 'bad-ass' site is 'PSPXStudio'. This not only offers these downloads, but even compiles them into one neat, scamming, illegal package for you. Apparently, the following is included in the current release: 50 PSP software Applications, 37 PSP Games, 19 PSP Tutorial / Help Guides, 18 PSP Movie Trailers, 15 PSP Game Saves, 8 PSP Game Emulators, 7 PSP Digital Magazines, 4 PSP Game Trailers, PSP Web Browser Guide.
It's not really worth mentioning that the guides, software, saves, trailers, emulators, magazines etc, are all freeware, and everything else is illegal.
They offer a 'Simple & easy to use eBook style guide on; Playing ISO files, Ripping UMD's, Converting and transferring movies and changing your firmware version', 'Emulation software to run game backups from your memory stick', 'UMD ISO Shrinker, to compress your game backups!' and 'UMD Ripper software, to backup your UMD games to ISO's'.
They even include a video converter, WOW! (No doubt it will be either freeware or provided with a crack). And, check this... They even show you how to set up your memory stick for ideal ISO use and storage! (Do you think that has something to do with a folder called 'ISO' in the memory stick root?).
And for a limited time only, included is a free hackers guide! (Also known as a list of PSP forum sites).
Again, steer clear! My crapiness rating (Where 1 is the least-bad, and 5 is the worst):

So, how can you spot these frauds? Well, I've found most of them to be associated with a site called 'i-z.com'. Their site can be found
HERE. Also, a few have messages like 'Processing your request....' when visiting certain areas; these are just for show. Watch out for sites that claim to be secure, and have 'SECURE SSL' logos on them. If they hyperlink to the site that tested them, they're probably legitimate. If they look fake and only say something like 'Secure SSL 128 security', then be wary.
I have deliberately not linked to any of the sites in question, as they do indirectly contain illegal material. However, they can easily be found with a Google search.
See ya'!
