There is no 'undressing' or disassembly of the PSP, only of the charger.

I fail to see how he could have done this, as I don't think the system ever needs to send or receive data from the charger, so why would the PSP ever be triggered into service mode? The battery has its serial changed to 0xFFFFFFF (maybe more or less bits), and the PSP is forced into service mode.
With the charger, I think it has an EEPROM, why in the world would it need to communicate the PSP? Unless of course, he was to somehow emulate battery activity and hook the thing up to the battery bay, then it would be feasible.

Sorry, this is going in my junk pile. As a hardware lover and as a software enthusiast, I'm going to outright ignore his claims.

Oh, and I'm trilingual, so here's a clarified translation:

The speed of Darkrayne's operations from minute to minute surprise me. He already surprised us by constructing a Jigkick battery for the PSP Slim with the Pandora software. Unfortunately, this time around, his hack can't be accomplished without hardware modification. Short presentation below.

Ther is no way I'm taking apart my PSP to try to fix it. I was thinking since he has a USB cable attached somehow he did it through his computer but now that I think about it I don't think that's right. I think that thought was kinda dumb. It is more possible he took apart the PSP to get it to work.
