The one used with games such as Socom is a headset with a microphone on the left ear. It doesn't come with any game; you have to buy it separately. It's actually pretty good too, though I can't see myself using it for Skype. I don't know anyone that uses Skype, actually. I recruited a few people, but that lasted less than a year.

SKype on PSP Slim is in fact true.
Engadget had a small piece on using the PSP's SKype and mentioned there was a slight 1 second delay in voice. You speak, and 1 second later...the person on the other end hears it.

Sony of course will be releasing a PSP Slim headset for this project, but they also mentioned that 3rd parties are free to release their own PSP Skype headsets according to Sony.
