Points: 1.69 Donate | | | HDD BLOCK ok my external HDD keeps on getting used by other ppl and they wont stop is ther a way to block things being put on it or GREATLY reduce t he speed of the transfer rate.

On my computer, and probably many others, if you enter the setup menu (aka Compaq logo appears with "F8 - Setup"), you can assign the computer a power-on password. They can't really do anything with that!
If you just want them stop using that specific HDD, unplug it and hide it somewhere, it's external anyway. |

or change its drive letter to one your already using so it wont show up untill u rechange the drive letter
or u could always just hide the drive or the power cable |
