You really seem to know your stuff, and now i have a SUPER problem

I just finished using System Mechanic, i let it do everything, and i used the virus app that came with it, so i restarted like it wanted me to so it could compress the registry or whatever, and it did a scandisk, so i let it continue and at the end it was compressing the registry it auto restarted so it could finish, then i got a Stop Error ( Blue screen of Death ), so i did a hard reboot and let it start up again, then once in windows i was missing like 700mb of space, i have no idea wat the hell happened and im really worried, i am dual booting 2 OS's so i might have to use the other one, i never use it though.

But PLZ help, if i can get the space back plz tell me how, i already did a disc cleanup and i got rid of the un needed system restore data, any help is appreciated

Edit: I still have 1 system restore i can use, its from yesterday before i reinstalled the mouse driver, i just wanted to know wat ya thought before doing that

Edit 2: Only bad thing about using the system restore is that i will probly lose System Mechanic and some of the stuff i recently got rid of might come back, and i just defragmented my C: drive, will that have any affect on the system restore????????

reboot in safe mode, and run all the antivirus/antispyware you have, so it only boots the necessary files needed to run windows, and continue from there

Hmm i could try that too, but i was skimming my temp folder in my windows folder and there is a new 727mb file that was made a couple mins ago, im thinking maybe that was the file that made me lose 700 or so mb

I never touched my registry, i just did all the recomended options in System Mechanic, it wanted to compress the registry or something

ha dont mess with your registry
and why do ppl have sooo many simular programs running
runnin more then 1 antivirus or spyware program isnt the best idea
it eats up your resources and they pretty much cancel each other out
and 99% of the spyware on your pc is most likely from all the anti spyware shit you have been installing
on my home pc's i dont run any anti virus no spyware crap
my router is firewalled thats all i use i have over 2tb of data on my pcs and i have never had a problem
stop goin to dogey porn sites and downloading shit off limewire and those other shitty p2p programs and you wont have problems

reboot into safe mode, run all the software, more than likely to find more things then.... see what is ok that you need, like p2p software/whutnot, delete whatever you have no idea about....

Everyone seems to think i use p2p apps and porno, well thats not true, i dont use that crap, your not helping Cut Throat.....

And i did the system restore, and i did lose System Mechanic, so ill have to download it again, no prob... And the space didnt come back, so ill manually delete the file it made, Thx Mista Bones

System Restore, I do that every few weeks. Keeps my pc running quickly and well. I have to reinstall everything, but my pc runs better.

Well i did it, and i deleted the file it made, and it seems to be running as it was before i restarted, so im happy with it for now, but the mouse still has spazms, but i guess thats ok cuz im reformating soon anyway
