That would be cool, and sony should just give up on blocking homebrew, nothing is perfect and someday even 2.80 will be cracked ( Hopefully )

I dont agree, I think that Sony will release secure firmwares like 1.51 & 1.52 and then release an update with added features and those features will be exploited, Adding features will add to the amount of exploit and holes in the firmware we find.
I very much doubt Sony would ever just give up on the console, They might release an official GBA emulator &/or Snes emulator with/without there firmwares.. Even when the console is dead the games still sell..
E.G. Gameboy/GBC/GBA... Games still sell, To intentionaly give the homebrew exploits to downgrade and play there console games for free will never happen.

Moving on to what other people said...

I like GTA games too, But im not looking forward to the release of GTA VCS, As with GTA LCS people updated, I bet my life Sony will have a requirement for the game, And it will take at leaste a month/2 months before we crack it, Especialy if Booster dont come back..

GTA LCS was a bad time for the scene, (not a bad game), But the after affects were bad, (untill Carter found the exploit that led to the downgrader)

Moving on to what other people said again....

I for one never thought a 2.5/6 downgrader would be possible, But I did think if it was to happen then it would be threw GTA..

I ceraintly thought Custom Firmware was possible, Any operating system can and will be modified in some way, All it took was some logical thinking and a realy smart ass dev...

i bet they will allow user mode homebrew on 3.00 but then we will exploit and downgrade some how, and that will piss them off then they wont ever allow homebrew again. becuase if they allowed it, someone would find a way to play psp2 on it or something like that. thats y i think they wont let there be homebrew ever. but after a while people will no how to edit updates so we could run something call X.XX update and change files so it makes ur psp 1.5, becuase we can get the files from the update should mean soon we can or sometime we will be able to put on back together to downgrade

psp v1.0 i thought GTA LCS was a bad time for the psp as everyone was upgrading and forgeting about homebrew and ISOs. there would be hardly anyone on the psp scene . I hope this doesnt happen with GTA VCS. and i hope tht the firmware needed can be emulated. or even better theres another exploit in GTA and you can run an ISO loader

Well, if sony was smart the would quitley (so the noobs that don't know about NB wouldnt find out) release a firmware tha does allow HB but only in user mode, so that means no D/G or Kernal(no ISOs) and I would sure as hell upgrad
