Yes, norton does a nice anti-virus. It has a smaller memory footprint on a mac then on a windows machine (this is due to some sort of file indexing that norton exploits). And it seems to scan faster, but I think that's because most macs don't have a lot on them (lack of apps/games/etc.) and smaller hard drives then what I have on my windows machine.

Haha, so true. All of those "I'm a PC and I'm a MAC" ads are flat out wrong. Macs get viruses, spyware, trojens, and so on. The only reason there aren't more is because there are far less macs then others (I think it's 7.5% of all computers, I'll edit this when I find the stats). Mac aren't any easier then Windows (easier then most forms of Linux, though), and I can think of about 17 external devices that work fine on Windows XP and Knoppix, yet refuse to work on OS X. My Win XP computer has crashed......twice in the last 12 months, both times on Linux, and not Windows (there were other times, but that was because I was messing with the Linux kernal). Finaly, at my old high school, one of the art teachers bought 150 brand new iMacs. About 75% wouldn't boot, and the ones that did wouldn't get their IP address, and would crash if you left them on for more then 2 hours.
As you can tell, I really don't like false advertising. Just wait untill I get on the topic of shampoo.....
