Points: 9.61 Donate | | LED Button hook up to motherboard!!! Ok, well I have all my parts for my computer and they are all hooked up right. I am having a problem hooking up the LED light/button to turn on the computer with my new motherboard. My old motherboard had a 14 prongs (7 on top and seven on bottom) and worked fine it was an acer. I am using the same tower but on my new motherboard only has 10 prongs (5 on top 5 on bottom). But heres where i am confused there are 7 on bottom 1 prong used on top 1 place where prong cant go and 5 more where no wires are connected. Is my LED button not compatible with my new motherboard? and is it possible to splice the wires and get them in the correct order for the LED button to work. ALL I WANT TO DO IS TURN IT ON!!! EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED PERFECTLY EXCEPT THE LED!!!(i know cuz i have done this many times before) Is there any way to turn on my comp if my LED button does not work properly? THANKS PLEZZ HELP!!

If it doesn't fit at all, get someone else's opinion. I'm no expert at splicing wires.
Sorry I can't give you a legitimate response. |

| | | | There should be the diagram inside the motherboard manual, or that can sometimes be found on there website if one did not come with it. | |
