And I will enjoy my remaining $400 somewhere else. I currently have a 360 but that is for games liike madden and halo while still saving $200 from the ps3, simply put I am not going to buy a new console that has a new "format" like blu-ray until "blu-ray" wins the so called "format war". I mean your pretty much screwed if blu-ray fails. With xbox u can delay for the hd dvd add on but if hd dvd fails i can guarantee microsoft wil come with a blu-ray add on. I think this is playing it safe. Also, the ps3 is overall a better system than the other systems (technology wise) in shear power. However I buy game systems to play GAMES and not to say "oh i have a really powerful GAME system but i dont play any games but metal gear solid and gran turismo" I buy game systems to play fun games. And nintendo has awesome games and a brand new innovative way to play them, while keeping in mind that they are trying to sell to the average person and not a computer geek or rich kid that can spend $600 like its nothin. I would buy the wii just for the fact that it is such a great deal. Not to mention zelda and tennis will be awesome on it to name a few of the many games for it. |

Of course, they could've gone down the simple road of R & D like this: "Well it seems for our next console, lets try more graphics and a more powerful cpu" But they traveled the less-known path of innovation. Simply put, yea alot of us will rather buy the PS3 on launch, but furthur down the road the Wii will be one of those, "I'd like to try that" purchases.
For one, I dont think the Wii's innovation will help its overall sale. Theres only so many games you can make where the motion technology comes in handy. |

Could you imagine playing like an FPS or something like Oblivion on it? Swinging the sword around trying to hit the other person or whatever.. sure, it sounds retarded, and most people would probally not play it until midnight or whatever so they dont look like a moron..
I dont really give a damn though.. I still think that FPSs BELONG on PCs.. but this Wii looks badass with that controller.. Imma get it. |

Personally I like nintendo and its cheap so yea I dont see why I wouldnt buy it. |

Robert A (admin..) fixed up a phase change cooling system for me (he has one for himself too) that uses compressed R402 gas to supercool the CPU down to -60 degrees Celsius, allowing me to overclock my CPU's core to over 5.5 GHz. Couple that with my new extension which allows my crossfire dual X1900 XTXs (which he also has, I asked him to build the exact same setup for me, hahaha) to also be overclocked mad, and all together, I have a setup which is a few times more powerful than the 360.
