do you think anyone can just give me a list of proxy servers. my school blocks all sites related to proxy avoidance.

A proxy is sort of an IP address that you hide behind. People open up ports on their servers so you can browse under a different identity.

The request for a web-page under a proxied browser goes like this:
PC > ISP > PROXY > WEBSITE
