Hey everyone.
This may be one of the last posts you see from me - I'm leaving the PSP scene. 
My interests lie elsewhere, I'm afraid. My work and relationship has been slipping downhill recently, and I need to focus on other things - there are so many distractions in my life, and the PSP has just become one of them.
Since I joined this community, it's been a shelter for me when I'm feeling low, a playground for me when I'm bored and a sanctuary for me when I've been low.
And for nearly a year, I've checked various PSP sites almost every day. I've posted almost every day, and it's just become too much for me now.
I've met some really great people here, and I'd just like to say that Robert and the rest of the staff do a fantastic job here, and I hope the 3D network continues to flourish.
I have to remove the PSP from every aspect of my life if I'm going to get back on track. That means the console is going, I won't be coming here for much longer, and development on all projects are now halted.
This is a massive step for me, as the PSP forms a great part of my life as it stands, and I'm probably going to feel empty inside for the next few days.... (LOL). Seriously though, you'll all be missed.
On a side note, another one of the reasons I'm leaving is because I've been offered a job by a German development group, and I've taken the job. When I graduate from where I am, I'm moving into the big-time.
Also, the source code for my recent project, "HBase", should be released soon. That said, the Windows partition on my hard disk isn't very healthy, and I can only hope that I can recover the source code before I'm forced to format it.
Lastly, expect to see the first and last version of my PSP guides collection released within the next few days - anyone who would like to carry on and update it regularly may have the opportunity to do so.
I hope I do get a chance to post in the next few days, but we'll see.

I think the same about your posts, they always give the thread a little more respectability, if you ask me.
Well, if I do decide to return, it'll be with great relief and great passion that I march back!
The only thing is, if/when I do, the scene may have changed drastically. There may be new top-notch coders, and new, great people. I can only hope that the scene stays as awesome, if not more, than it is now.
EDIT: I have to go now, but tommorow or the next day will be my last day, so I'll check back and see whats' going down before my departure  |
