whut up yall. i love the site. i just got into this psp hacking thing. i am the owner of a 2.6 FW PSP that was updated from a 2.0(stock). i'm debating on the whole downdate-to-1.5 thing. apparently i have the right motherboard according to the jpegs posted everywhere, but i'm still mad nervous about bricking it. i've heard that something may be on the horizon for 2.6ers like me. If anyone can offer me advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Points: 491.72 Donate | | | It wont brick as long as you dont mess up, if your good at following directions then go ahead, it will work flawless, of course its the right Motherboard if it had 2.0 on it, cuz a TA-082 ( One you dont want ) cant run anything under 2.01 |

Points: 38.94 Donate | | The Tiff exploit is very pointless if you have a downgradable 2.60.
The games are VERY limited on the tiff exploit and dont always load first attempt.
Go on down to: www.psp-hacks.com and go to the dowload section.
Seach for something called "easy downgrader 2.5/6".
This will do all of the work for you and therefor no chance of bricking.

It happened to me. As for being scared of bricking it - i haven't used X-Flash.
btw Guys - in the X-Flash read me it says don't use xflash if you have flashed your PSP before.
I have used Pimp My PSP before but have flashed it back to normal. Should X-Flash be alright? |
