It took me a while to find out how to do this, but just follow these steps.
  • Open WinRAR, or an archive in WinRAR.
  • Go to Options - Settings.
  • Get onto the Compression tab.
  • Click 'Create Default' under Compression Profiles.
  • On the General tab in the bottom-left corner, there is an empty box, titled 'Split to Volumes, bytes...' Enter in how many bytes you want each split volume to be.
  • For example, 3 megs would be 3,000,000, and 260 k would 260,000.
