To do it: just download the following link YouSendIt: The Leader in File Delivery.
unzip it. then just copy the skype folder to your mem stick root.
after that open the skpe folder on mem stick then open data folder then click on skype.bat.
then tell me your results.
Please and thank you

Even if you got it to boot, if its really skype, only users with a kind of mic would be able to use it to talk (Without typing), even then you would have to make support for either the Socom mic or the Talkman mic |

Now the real trick is getting the psp itself (and not the computer it's connected to) to run Skype. but Skype is not open sorce, so that is a no-go.

completly different processor instruction set. the psp runs MIPS, not x86
also Skype is a registerd trademarked app. not open source, no1 is willing to port that for legal reasons...
while i am not saying it's imposible to code yer own client from the ground up, it's a big task. i am fairly confident that the psp has the processing power for a voip client. but it may possibly be lacking on the voice codecs. or the ability to convert the voice real time. (even tho there is a text to speech app out for psp) so maybe at a low quality it would work. but like i said. basicaly would need to code the audio codec, from scratch, then write a client app. and try not step on any copywrite toe's while doing it...
biiig ask
