Well I did hear around that you can run Linux, Windows, and some other operating systems w/ the PS3. Not sure how tru those rumors were since I don't currently have a PS3 right now. It is definately just as good as using a half-way decent PC/computer hardware machine.

hahah guys. Windows = x86, X64 extension architecture.

PS3 = CELL Power Pc.

windows cant run it. Linux can because it is open-source coded so its more supported (not saying all open-s'c are), it added Power PC architecture support.

I am 100% sure Ubuntu and Yellow Dog work however I'm not sure if you can use the same copy you would use on your PC. But I think theres a Windows emulator for Linux. That might work.
