High Def Video's (pre-rendered cut-scenes) on the other hand, can use up all 54GB, for example, if a game with all of the texures and sounds uses 8gb (for example, oblivion uses 8GB for all the gameplay mechanics and sounds and stuff) and then has 30GB of videos, then the game would be 38GB. But most likely Sony is loading the games up with as much filler as posible. There is no way the textures (unless it is one longass game, multiple environment game) will use more than 6GB.
Its the same as the PSP games, the devs load them up with tons of filler.
But by the time game developers use all 54GB for gameplay, we are going to have the Xbox 1080.
So, yes, eventually you will be able to pirate PS3 games. |

^_^ Imagine GTA.
Now imagine, GTA: America.
Now imagine, GTA: America: All buildings enterable, all people with custom sound tracks.
That can EASILY fill up multiple layered bluray discs, several, depending on how detailed you get.
Remember: The more room you have, the more stuff will expand to fill it. |

GTA:America? Keep dreaming. |

Of course they would use generator's to make random cities and towns, but to have the game actually look amazing and have that much content, no developer would ever even attempt that... | |
