Help chosing a new laptop battery

Hey I have a hp pavillion zv5000 laptop and it's battery blows. It can take series pp2200 or series pp2210 batterys. In my searches at froogle I found to fairly cheap batterys but I notice that their "mAh" (mili-amp hours? I think) varry.
Laptop Battery 346970-001 for Compaq R3000 R4000 X6000 NEW: JD_3469701-001 JustDeals.com
has a mAh rating of 4400mAh
and DP390A - Original HP Pavilion zx5000, zv5000, zv6000, zd8000, and Presario X6000, R3000, R4000 Series 12-cell Battery - New Items
has a mAh rating of 6600mAh
I can't quite remember what this means though -- does the higher one mean that it can draw more current and therefore won't last as long or does it mean it will last longer?

Anyone know? If you do how much longer do you think the 6600 or 4400 will last?

mAh - Milli-Amp hours. This is a rating of the amount of charge that the battery has. One milliamp is one one thousanth of a amp (milliamps are to amps as millimeters are to meters), and this is how many hours of milliamps the battery can hold. For example, lets say you have a device that draws one milliamp of current. On a 40 mAh battery, it would last 40 hours. If the device drew 10 mA's of current, then it would last 4 hours. And if it drew 40 mA's of current, then it would last 1 hour.

So, how much longer for a 6600 battery? Depends on your laptop's specs and usage. Higher brightness/CPU settings = higher draw = less time. But the 6600 definatly last longer then the 4400, I just can't tell you excatly how much longer.

Hopefully he'll learn not to try and push quite possibly unconstitutional bills though the state assembly and then waste tax money fighting it in court. Plus, he has failed the bar exam 4 times . Disclaimer: These are my opinions, and I am wholy responsible for them.

Send a message via MSN to Time For A Game!
So basicly:

More mAh is more battery life

less mAh, less battery life
