The PS3 actually DOESN'T have an advantage CPU and RAM wise. 3 multipurpose cores is better than 7 SPE's, because those 3 core have there own cache, and the 7 SPE's of the PS3 share a 3mb cache. Programming is much easier on the 360, its hard to program 7 threads vs 3 threads when the power is essentially the same. In theoretical power, the PS3 wins, but in programmable power, 360 pwns the PS3. Ram-wise, the 360 wins. The 360 has 512 of shared ram, the PS3 has 256mb of GPU ram and 256mb of CPU ram. The 512mb is better because you could use upto roughly 400mb of texture memory vs the PS3's 256mb MAX. Accessibility, the 360 pwns it, you can go anywhere and get a 360, the 360's interface is MUCH simpler and actually looks nice. The SIXAXIS really sucks, trust me. I have played every launch game for the PS3, the sixaxis seems slapped on at the last moment, not even comparable to the wii. I haven't had any problems with my 360, i even got a full year o warranty for free, but never needed it because my 360 is perfectly stable.
Sad, misinformed fanboy....
I thought I wasn't going to post anymore in this thread anywas... Oh well
