People seemed to like the challenge of
Brain Stumper, so I decided to come out with another one!
I challenge YOU, the anonymous internet, to solve my glorious mind crushing puzzle~!
The puzzle is still simple, the answer is also simple, and if you think you know the answer, be the first to post it below (No edits please)!
^_^ Lets see who gets it first!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a hidden room there is a Poem etched on the wall:
"The Whale, Boarded Wherewithal: "
Which of the four below should be the next word, and why?
Choice A) Maple
Choice B) Sequoia
Choice C) Birch
Choice D) Dog Wood
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First one to solve it gets their name added to this post!
First Place: (Maybe you!)
Second Place: (Hopefully Not You...)
Third Place: (Try and be faster next time!)
To help people out, here are some wrong guesses!
(good try guys) 1. RobKellas ~
Maple. I know why.
(^_^;;; Apparently not well enough to explain?)
2. w15hb0n3 ~
Dog Wood, because it follows the 2-5-2 syllable haiku format
(O.O wow. That is elegant. But far too complex for this one.) 3. Blade ~
I think the answer is birch, it just seems like it fits into the sentence...
(^_^ Don't worry, the answer makes a lot more sense... You will like it.)
4. Bono ~
Sequoia, It's the only tree big enough to support a whale!
(O.o a whale would either be impaled by it, or would snap it in half. Cool idea though.)
5. Popcorn Devil ~
Dog Wood, because every second word begins with a W...
(^_^ The answer is not that odd, I promise it makes sense.)
MAJOR HINT (WARNING, POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!)
Quote:
Ok, here is a hint:
The poem could have also been:
"All Wait, Animals Announcing:"
Without changing the answer. |
ANSWER (WARNING, SPOILER ALERT!)
Quote:
| Like I said, the answer is easy: If you count the number of vowels in each word, it goes: 1 2, 3 4: Therefore, the answer must be Sequoia, which has 5 vowels. Congradulations to everyone whom got close! |
