I have taken some time, and with the help of my lovely GF Treefan, we have made everyone (who wants it) on PSP3D.com an Xmas Gift!

For a long time now, I have wanted to help people who for one reason or another have been strapped to the Windows XP operating system...

So for this xmas, I have made the Subworld34 System Package!

^_^ We sat down and tried to think of EVERYTHING anyone would ever want to do on a computer, and then I went and found high quality freeware and (no time restraint) trials that allow you to do it!

So, without further ado, here is a sizable excerpt from the ReadMe I made:

##7zip 442: This is a great program that can zip, unzip, compress, and even make self extracting executables! I even used it to make this package. You can use this to unzip the other things in this package.

(Category A:Security/Cleaning)Programs:
##Ad Aware SE Personal: It is good at what it does, it cleans your computer of adware. Combined with Spybot Search and Destroy, these programs really help your computer shine like its old self again.

##Spybot SD: Spybot Search and Destroy: A fast Spyware finder, also has a program inside of it called TeaTimer, which watches your registry and asks your permission when something changes. Teatimer is off by default. I wuv this one!

##AVG, Free version: BEST DARN GONE ANTIVIRUS. I have not looked back... You can even shut down the program and have it scan your computer once a day in the morning, and then shut itself off saving your computers resources!

##Firefox 2.0: Hopefully you already have this. No popups, great plugins, a built in spell checker and RSS feed reader... You can easily control bookmarks, and add in all kinds of free plugins! This should be your first defense against Adware, Spyware and Viruses.
Suggested plugins: Noscript, Adblock, Stumbleupon, Context Menu Editor, and gmail manager.

##RegscrubXP: Cleans your registry! All those empty folders after cleaning your adware have to be taken care of, and this does a great job. Has nifty extra features too if you bother to check around.

##defraglite: I LOVE THIS! O&O Defrag is the best program EVER! It only takes ONE PASS to COMPLETELY defrag your computer! It will even run on hard drives that are 90% full! Fast, easy to use, and nice looking. DEFINATELY a must have.

##FreeRam XP Pro: This program can be set up to automatically free up your Ram. (Almost like restarting your computer!) The power of this program however, is that you can do things such as automatically freeing your Ram every 30 minutes if your Ram is below 10%, but NOT doing anything if you are using the harddrive or the CPU. In other words, this will keep your computer fast and responsive. ^_^ I love it.

(Category A:Media/Movies)Programs:
##Daemon 347: Allows you to make virtual cd and dvd drives of your ISO's, or backed up DVD and CD Images. This is an older version without the ad toolbars and other yuck.

##DVD Decrypter: For backing up DVD's to ISO's. You can not find this anymore. I love it to pieces, as it works on all my Dvd's that I own. Use this with Daemon to watch your movies quickly and easily from your computer or laptop!

##Gom Player: All I can say is wow. This is the BEST media player I have ever used, and it is built to play almost EVERYTHING! DVD's, mp3's, wav, you name it. If it can't play your media, Gom will give you a link to automatically find the codec Gom needs and will install it. Gom also lets you filter out voices or music, set frames from DVD's as your wallpaper, record audio or video clips of what you are watching, etc!

##Img Burn: For making a hard copy of your ISO.

##Any Video Converter: Self explanitory. ^_^ Enjoy it.

## T@b Video Editing Software: Use it when: Final output is a combination of 2+ media sources rendered simultaniously (mulitiple heads arranged into a block pattern for example, like the brady bunch), use it when every aspect needs to be tweened with an algorithm, volume, etc. Use when you need to create custom effects and processes by combining effects, and when you want a POWERFULL video editor.

(Category A:Other)Programs:
##Gaim 2.0.0beta5: Instant messenger. You can talk to people on aim, msn, yahoo, jabber, gmail, irc, and icq. Has extra options and great customizability, such as the ability to be invisable, or only hear a notification when someone types your name...

##Audacity: Audio recorder/editor. Fast, free and easy! I have heard nothing but good things about this program. Use it for podcasts and such.

##Kristal AE: "KRISTAL Audio Engine is a powerful multi-track recorder, audio
sequencer and mixer - ideal for anyone wanting to get started with recording, mixing and mastering digital audio." I found this after playing with FL Studios and wanting something that was free.

##GIMP: Install gtk and then the gimp-2.2.13 etc files. This does everything that Photoshop does, and I personally love it!

##IrfanView 380: This allows you to view, edit, sharpen, resize, etc your pictures. You will simply have to try it to see why this thing is SO awesome. When I do not want to break out Photoshop, I can make quick and easy changes to pictures using this program!

##InkScape: My GF says this program rocks! It is a vector drawing progam, and is "Pretty intuitive, and it was fun to use" to quote her. ^_^ My work is done here.

##Google SketchUP: Quickly make three dimensional models easily! I made a trashcan. It was cool.

##OOo_2.0.4: OpenOffice.org: This does everything Microsft Office and Word does, and in my humble opinion, it does it better. This program actually reads your paper and suggests words based on what you wrote earlier... I love it to pieces. Big program though.

##Notepad++: This is an AWESOME replacement for notepad! Some use it for coding too. Just try it and find out!

##PSPad and Topstyle: These two programs work best together! PSPad is MY FAVORITE code editor, it allows you to do all the standard things, code coloring/colapsing, etc, but more importantly it lets you change your selection from normal to "Box" selection! Drag and select a coloumn, and copy and paste! Or delete! Topstyle makes css creation a breeze.

##FreeMind: This thing is cool. Ever see someone make a map of stuff on a white board? Same basic idea. Easily make complex mappings a reality! WOOT! Decent for organization.

##VirtualDimension: Allows you to make as many virtual desktops as you want, quickly and easily! I LOVE this program, you can even have multiple wallpapers, etc.

##bctoolbar: Bread Crumb Toolbar: This is the only feature of Windows Vista that I really wanted. It turns your url into a series of folders, so that you can choose a different folder half way down the current url: For example, if you were trying to go from (C:\Program Files\S34\Temp\Cool Programs) to (C:\Program Files\S34\Pizza), you could click on the "Temp" drop down arrow and choose "Pizza". Fun to play with.

%%Move On Boot: Just move this folder somewhere on your computer, and start the exe. If you move the exe file, make sure to keep the mboot.dll file in the same folder. This lets you rename, move, or delete any file the next time you boot your computer! (Usefull for viruses, spyware, rootkits, etc)

%%Power Menu: If you move the exe, make sure to keep PowerMenuHook.dll in the same folder. This program adds 4 options to your right click menu:
1.Priority. Change the priority of whatever you right clicked.
2.Transparency. Change how much you can see through what you right clicked.
3.Always On Top. Yep. That will stay on top of stuff.
4.Minimize to Tray. ^_^ I love this... Minimize that window to the toolbar's tray!

%%Windows Enabler: If you move this exe, make sure to keep EnablerDLL.dll in the same folder. This one ROCKS! Ever had a box that you could not write in, or a box you couldn't check? Ever had a button that you could not click? THIS FIXES THIS! Start the program, make sure it is on, and then click on whatever is disabled to make it enabled!

%%Autostitch: This program ROCKS! Just give it a bunch of photos, and it will stich em into a panorama! I tried it with random pictures of my room, and got a sweet pic of my computer...

Tried it on a hall, also sweet... SO I took like 60 digital pics of my living room, and it was AMAZING!

You only need to keep the EXE, but I put it all in the credit files. Of course.

%%Configure Gmail: Program allows you to configure Outlook to use Gmail quickly and easily.

%%FoxitReader: Save this somewhere on your computer, run it, and choose "Help" from the menu. Check the box that says "Set to Default PDF Reader". ^_^ Your done! This program opens, edits, saves, and prints PDF's! More importantly, this thing is FAST. Really, time it. I bet you get pdf's opened a LOT faster with this thing.

%%Mike Lin's Startup: You will use this a lot. This lets you alter what starts up with your computer. You can add, subtract, enable and disable easily and quickly. ^_^ Save it somewhere special.

%%Mouser V2: I found this one on LifeHacker.com. It is a binary search program for laptops, and it lets you cut the screen in half with your mouse until you are hovering over your target! Activate with Ctrl+M, use the arrow keys, R for right click, L for Left click, D for double click. You can reprogram all the buttons.

%%RockXP4: Lets you recover your lost XP key, and most passwords you missplaced.

%%siw (System Info): A LARGE list of useful info about your computer!

%%SQLite Database Browser: A TINY browser to search and edit a database! Enjoy it.

Anything that starts with ## requires installing, and can be found in the folder called "Instillation Programs". Anything that starts with %% will run as is, no install needed!
(On a side note, if a %% program is in a folder, make sure to keep the .exe file in the same folder as the .dll please!)

At some point in the future, I may make Subworld34 System Pack 2: The Bookmark Package.
Goodness knows that I know a few places.

Just a recap of what this package provides!

(For full descriptions, read the first post)

This package contains programs that let you:
Scan/clean viruses, adware, spyware, and trojens, clean your registry and defrag a full hard drive quickly and completely.

You can set your computer to automatically clean itself, and to intellegently clean/compress your Ram.

You can have all programs ask your permission before changing your registry, recover lost passwords (including the windows key), and see system information quickly and easily.

You can edit pictures, make panoramas, edit videos/music, create videos, create pictures, play almost all formats and convert almost all formats.

You can surf safely, create 3d models, view most images, music vids, etc

You can back up your DVD's, create virtual drives, play them, pull out pictures, music, voices and save clips of them, make a hard copy of ISO's, and more.

You can delete, move, or rename files when you boot, you can make programs stay on top, change priority, control the mouse with the keyboard quickly, make programs transparent, minimize it to the tray, and more.

Everything else we stuck in here.

there must be something wrong with this package cuz only about half of them extracted and the rest give me errors. I will post the errors in a second.
