Permently delete off hdd

first off sorry for starting 2 treads in one day. ok well i am sellinig my computer to one of my friends and i had pc inspector file recovery and i know u honestly cannot delete something off the hdd for good but i was wondering if there was any programs that can delete things and not even a smart noob with pc inspector file recovery cannot recover the files. like u would have to be bill gates or part of the fbi to get the files back.

pc inspector file recovery can easly recover files over a formatted hdd.

Uhh... I dont think so. A format tottaly changes the file system. I have formatted my HDD so many times that it would be impossible for me to recover my files from my original os.

well i dont know how i will reinstall my os.....i kinda did not get it from legal ways.....

Search google for "File shredder". Spybot search & Destroy has one built in.

Or, fill up the hard-disk with junk, delete the necessary files, then fill the disk with more junk, until you've literally got like 100kb left. Then, delete the junk.

Then, if you wanted, you could format the disk or partition.

Yea, I'm seconding the spybot S & D sheader. It really works well, and is one of the best ones out there. Plus, it's free.

macafee has a great one it really really deletes it i have tried to get a file back with a lot of different softwares and nothing worked
