XD
No, but seriously.. do you have your stuff on a laptop? Or is it on a stationary desktop PC..
Another solution - If you have DSL ( I'm sure you do, because I haven't heard of 'Wireless Cable' ) Check your phones, if one doesn't have that little DSL Filter, then your modem will like, become disconnected with your ISP..
Or, you could move your PC towards your modem/router, and use WIRES.
WIRES ARE THE WAY TO GO!!! Fauk wireless. My brother just bought this "Wireless KB/Mouse" Combo, and the damn batterys die every 15 seconds. It's pissing me off. He got it because he wanted to play Half-Life 2 on our 61" TV, and was tired of moving his PC to the middle of the room.. But, the receiver on the mouse and KB was only 6 feet long.. BS.
Or, you could call your ISP and have the stupid asses there tell you what to do... ( XD NO Offense!!!!!!! But me and my friend had my old ass router at his house for a LAN Party on CS, and the dumbass with comcast said, "Unplug the router for 15 seconds, then plug it back in." And he kept suggesting that kind of shit for like 15 mins. )
I hope I helped. |

What's the adapter, is it like internal, or a usb one? |

Do you have any christmas lights, lol?
Try re-installing your wi-fi drivers, Windows live messenger, and your network connection. If that doesn't work, go to the command prompt and type the following two commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
Tell me if they work. |
