As some of you already know, I recently made a huge package of almost all programs you would ever need for a Windows XP computer.
(If your memory is rusty, see that article here!)
Well, I have come out with the sequel: A package of bookmarks, which (although they do not have everything), have quite a bit of punch to them. You will need to use the FireFox browser to guarantee full support, since that is what I used to build the package.
So I present to you, fellow goers of PSP3d:
Subworld34 Bookmarks Pack! Click here to see a list of what is in here.
So how do you install it?
Step 1. Save my package from here somewhere you can find it.
Step 2. Open FireFox, Click "Bookmarks", and then "Organize Bookmarks."
Step 3. In the new window that pops up, Click "File", Click "Import...". Make sure that "From File" is chosen, then click "Next >". Then just go to where you saved my file and choose it.
Step 4. Move all the files from the folder labled:
"Move files from inside this folder into "Bookmarks" Folder."
into the Bookmarks folder. (If you never used your bookmarks folder before, right click on your menu in the browser and rearrange your toolbars so that you can see the links.) You don't need to do this: Feel free to move any of them anywhere. This is just my suggestion.
Done!
I hope someone finds these useful. I might add more, or come out with a larger release in the future... I am also considering taking my old package and splitting it into smaller chunks so that you can download the groups you want rather than the whole block.
The biggest feature that I like about this, is the folder labeled "Keywords". You will never have to look in this folder (feel free to though). So what does it do?
After adding my bookmarks, you can:
Type into the url bar. Typing stuff like "goog fish" or "google fish" will search google for fish now when you type it in the url bar. Other words that will work: "bible fish", "music fish", "person fish" (Searches the US for that name), "phone 1234567" (That reverse looks up a phone number), "movie fish", "yahoo fish", "ask fish".... umm... well, I put a whole lot in. Pretty much type what you want, and I probably have something in there. Everything from recipes to lycos. ^_^ I took some time with this one.
You can order a pizza online, have it delivered.
You can find tutorials to teach you how to triple boot a computer with vista, xp and ubuntu, how to make money uploading videos, how to create your own quick chat room, and... umm...
Lets just say there is a lot, ok? See here for everything.
Merry Xmas everyone!
