Xbox HD DvD comes from Microsoft.
Microsoft likes making money.
If I had to guess, I would bet that they will sell movies to you twice, charge you three times, and fix it for a fee. |

Points: 56.99 Donate | | | well i decided to ring up customer support!! now im too sure if the woman who answered the phone knew what she was on about!! iv used my xbox to stream my tunes thru from my pc but iv never actually streamed any video, iv a feeling it only streams wmv files too. she told me the only way i can watch hd media is to buy the additional hd dvd drive and when i asked was it region coded she sed (you'll like this!) the ones available at the minute are but she thinks later next year the newer models wont be!!
has anyone here streamed any videos thru to their x box and what do u reckon about whether ill be able to stream a hd dvd rip in 1080i hd??
iv looked into modding it but im a bit concerned about all the updates etc cos at the end of the day my xbox is connected to a computer to the internet and microsoft have access to my xbox during upgrades so im a bit unsure about modding it!! | |
