Yo.
I have just realised I can put my Gmail account into use by storing all my songs on it and putting them onto another computer, ready for my Ipod at Xmas.
Only problem is, I cant find out how to store files on it. Sorry if this is Noobish, but Im not very familiar with Gmail. Thanks.  |

Points: 214.02 Donate | | You need a program called GMail Drive shell extension. You can find it here: viksoe.dk - GMail Drive shell extension
It works as an icon in 'My Computer', and you can drag-and-drop files to it and from it as you please.
Now, you can only upload files under 10mb, so RAR them and split them. Once, they're uploaded, you'll get weird messages in your inbox with the files as attachments. Move them to an archive or folder somewhere. |

Oh and do you think its possible to rar about 3 gig of music like, 50 times to make it under 10mb?

But you can split it as you go along, to get like 300 parts then put them on. I tried that, worked until they banned my GMail account for 24 hours.  I stopped trying after that. |

its possible torar and split, but it'll take time. isn't it easier to enable disk mode on your iPod, put all the songs on it and move it to the other pc? |
