Besides, if it wasn't for Microsoft, there wouldn't be nearly as many consoles as there are now; all the major companies (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft) are in constant competition with each-other.
Sony bought out the PSP as a competitor to the Gameboy; The Xbox was in response to the PS2; The PS3 is the competitor with the Wii and the 360. The Zune is the rival to the iPod.
All companies rely on their competitors in order to bring out quality consoles. Without one, their would be less chance of half the consoles in the 'next-gen' war.
Don't say companies should stick to what they started off with. Technology producers should keep expanding and growing as big as they can, that's the idea of a business anywho. Microsoft have an advantage, as they have the worlds' most popular PC operating system to double-up their consoles with.
Well done to Microsoft for innovating and building their place on the market on their original products. It's called getting ahead of the game. |

If they're trying to branch out their reputation, they're going to have a wider audience and get more money right? So really, all the game companies just do all this work just for money, and I think that is almost obvious. In fact, I could be making a big fool out of myself right now. |

Their VAIO computers suck
They are wasting their time on firmware security
Their software is being owned by adobe
The PS3 was too overpriced to sell a large ammount ( I mean over time, not launch "
They are loosing millions every day |

| Their VAIO computers suck: That is your opinion. I wouldn't know I don't own or use their computers They are wasting their time on firmware security: I agree. They haven't released any new good firware lately just security updates. Their software is being owned by adobe: Is it? I didn't know that. I like Adobe products though The PS3 was too overpriced to sell a large ammount: I agree the price was too high and it screwed them on selling a lot. They are loosing millions every day:Maybe they are but they can bounce back
