just get a mac and parrallells, then you can run windows and mac on the same machine, at the same time

I agree with you. With Windows you risk a virus everytime you download a file or heck even going on a website. Matter of fact I got a nasty virus last week surfing the internet.

Yeah but $2,000 is a big investment for a computer that's going to become obsolete with in 4 or 5 year's, you could get a PC with almost a twice as good spec for that price. At least with a PC you can Upgrade. And if your worried about virus's just run Linux.

Linux is weird.
My computer is pretty much obsolete now. It's a windows xp, and I've had it for 5 or 6 years. I guess I could upgrade it, but then I'd just spend the amount of a new computer.

But still, a new PC is around $4-$500, a Mac, of roughly the same spec, is around $1-$2000.

my pc has much better specs than my mac, but still, my mac is much faster, hangs less often (never) and is alot easier to use. and the price was even lower..
